SUMMER IN THE CITY

It’s summertime and everyone from Manhattan to Montauk is looking for ways to stay cool yet look sharp. Maybe you’re looking for that perfect summer shoe but those canvas espadrilles don’t quite fit the bill? The New York-based company, Heutchy, has been delivering men’s shoes with the mission to create a shoe that’s of an intelligent, modern design bridging the gap between casual and formal. Their collaborations with designer, Richard Chai, and artist, Danny Roberts, have made for some pretty amazing designs. Check out these leather slip-ons (also in gray) here – or as we like to think of them, “leather Kung-Fu shoes” but in soft Italian calf skin.  This one's for you M.M.

EASY BREEZY

As if those 60 hour workweeks weren’t hectic enough.  Who wouldn’t want life to be a little bit more effortless?  Our friends at Persol have been working hard since 1917 to handcraft these glasses so you can look like every day is a breeze.  Almost a hundred years later, this Italian company (from “per il sole” meaning “for the sun”) evolved into an iconic brand of sunglasses each made with the signature silver arrow: a hinge with an arrow on the stem inspired by the swords of ancient warriors.  Channel your inner weekend warrior and slip on these Special Edition Steve McQueen Persol sunglasses.  This one's for you M.M.

Keeping It Cool

The French say you get hungry when you are eating and you get ideas when you are thinking. We say you get “cooler” when you slip on these Orlebar Brown shorts.
They're made for the water but you can wear them anywhere: the beach, pool, racquet club, or walking the dog.

These classic trunks will not only keep you cool during those 90 degree weekends but they will also make you look 10 times cooler than the next guy wearing those baggy board shorts. Known for their tailored swimwear, Orlebar Brown trunks come in a variety of solid colors in quick-dry fabrics and finished with signature engraved side fasteners. Buy ‘em in every color here.
